S ingle-Layer, DOUBLE-Layer, 10 or 15 cm thickness, what length and width, these are often the first decision criteria when buying a SUP board. But as a brand manufacturer, we know that the real values of a SUP board lie in the construction and in the inner core. (the CORE)
Stiffness and degree of hardness, tipping stability, load capacity, driving dynamics, robustness and last but not least the weight of a SUP board are largely derived from the structure, construction and the material used. Versatility, on the other hand, is based on the type and scope of features such as the number of carry handles, the number of stainless D-rings for the luggage belt, stainless D-rings for a kayak seat, and D-rings for mooring or towing, the presence of a kayak bar, etc.
With our new 4 Tech L-CORE SUP boards (SEAHORSE, TURTLE and WHALE) we have taken all of these aspects into account and developed a new generation of boards that raises this sport to a new level of quality.

4 Tech L-CORE construction - The origin of all SUP boards was once that the fiber core was coated with a PVC material. "single layer board"

The new SUP GENERATION with a " 4 Tech L-CORE " construction is based on an inner fiber core of 25,000 polyester threads per cm² . This is twice the number of extremely resilient polyester threads that are usually installed in SUP boards. This close-meshed fiber core is fused with a 4-layer PRE-laminated fabric material. This extremely hard-wearing PRE-laminated material is not only significantly lighter - in conjunction with the polyester fiber core manufactured using the latest DROP-STICH technology , it develops a degree of rigidity and hardness that is up to 20% higher .
Longitudinal stringers (also pre-laminated material) embedded in the board surface also increase the bending and torsional rigidity of these 4-layer SUP boards
